The Island Inn sits atop a bluff looking west over Monhegan Harbor, Manana Island and the bay beyond, providing a perfect location to view the boldly beautiful Atlantic sunsets. It’s architecture has been preserved as a classic turn-of-the-century shingle-style summer hotel, much reproduced in the early part of the 20th century, but rarely found intact today.
